The British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced the winners for the annual British Academy Children’s Awards. For the first time ever, Cartoon Network won the BAFTA in the prestigious ‘Channel of the Year’ category, beating out CBeebies, CBBC and Cyw. Cartoon Network also picked up a BAFTA for one of its most popular shows, Adventure Time, in the ‘International’ category.
The two awards highlight Cartoon Network’s continued success, reinforcing the popularity of its leading comedy line-up.
