On the eighth edition of Anim’est, in addition to the Think Oscar!program, viewers can watch the five films nominated for an Oscar in 2013 for Best Short Animation.

Adam and Dog (dir. Minkyu Lee), a story about friendship between man and dog, from the early days of Genesis, Fresh Guacamole (dir. PES), about an invisible chef who prepares an unique guacamole recipe using unusual ingredients, Maggie Simpson in „The longest daycare” (dir. David Silverman), Head over Heels (dir. Timothy Reckart, Fodhla Cronin O’Reilly) and Paperman (dir. John Kahrs), in which a young man working in an office tries desperately to attract the attention of a girl working in a skyscraper across the street; These films can be viewed at Studio Cinema, Wednesday, October 9th, at 22:00.
