Scurtmetrajul de animatie Late Afternoon este pe lista scurta din care se vor alege cele cinci nominalizari ale Oscarului 2019. Regia este semnata de Louise Bagnall. Acesta a acordat un interviu blogului Animation Scoop.

Animatia este realizata de Cartoon Saloon (Irlanda), studioul care a realizat The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea si The Breadwinner.
