Tell me about Bessarabia animation.
There is no animation as such, as there is no film-industry. However there is a pool of young talent, either associated with smal studios or not, who are trying to make animation projects happen. Such as us.
To finance projects of animation, Moldavian animators appeals to businessmen in Moscow or in the West?
Not really a viable question. There isn’t a set rule. Each individual or business, goes wherever he or she thinks chances of finding a partner are bigger. We are looking for partners in the West and particularly North America, because that is the particular market we want to work on, so getting money from western partners, for the western market makes more sense.
Do you make, also animated commercials or music videos?
